About autograph collecting

A favorite pastime of Goethe, Brahms, John F. Kennedy, and Franklin D. Roosevelt - autograph collecting is an international hobby whose roots stretch back to Cicero and ancient Rome.

More affordable than fine art, autograph collecting literally puts in your hands letters and documents written by history’s most fascinating personalities. Unlike any other collectible, autographs tell a story that draws you into the past while simultaneously engaging you in a deeper understanding of civilization's events as recorded by the men and women who helped shape them.

We are emotional autograph collector's ourself and strongly believe that each collection is a kind of mirrow of the own personal history, focues interest, passion or memory.

Whether you are new to autographs or a seasoned collector, we would be delighted to discuss your interests and act as your “personal curator.”

Finally we like to show a wonderful letter of former US president Bill Clinton which shows the joy of autograph collecting.

Great content ALS "Bill" most likely as President. on Sheraton Manhattan letterhead, New York, Mar.28. In full: "Dear Steve - Thanks for the Elvis autograph - you have no idea how much I appreciate it and the plaque you and your daughter gave us - This compaign has brought us back to a lot of good past times - Best Bill"

because they make me feel that I am holding a piece of history in my hands.”

How brief and accurate Markus expressed my colllectors's feelings! I can only add i little more: holding an utograph in my hands makes me feel like this person is next to me in the same room...

I have started collecting US Secretary of State memoirs signed. So far I have 3 and have been looking to for Warren Christopher. How do you tell if it is authentic and what price it should go for?

    Thank you
